Good restaurant
These people exploit the homeless and mentally challenged, paying less than minimum wage in overpriced Greek food credit. Please do not eat at this establishment.
Great gyro and flammed cheese. Highly recommend
Great food, great service, and a relaxing environment
Great saganaki & Horiatiki.
The worst Greek food I have eaten. No way its fresh. Food was salty and dry. I told the waiter. Answer from waiter : everyone has different taste. Sunday evening, we are the only ones there. We walked around after to see how other restaurant are doing. The other restaurants where plenty busy.
Disgusting dirty place
Ordered lamb got served beef. What makes me angry, is this old man server probably thinks I don't know the difference. I'm African! I know lamb meat! At least he struck a home run with the Chardonnay. The Chardonnay that he gave me in a dirty glass 😕
Pretty dang expensive, but you get what you pay for. Their Gyros are second to none. Their Greek potatoes will blow your mind. The guys that work there are super friendly as well. The biggest downside to Yanni's is that it's often incredibly hot inside, so eat outside whenever possible.
A perfect place for a quiet, secluded romantic dinner or for good-conversation with close friends. The owner was very knowledgeable about all food items on the menu and was extremely accommodating to our friend with several food allergies. The lamb was succulent and tender, veggies roasted expertly and the accompanying wine was robust. For approximately 20$ you can get an entree with a salad and soup. The homemade hummus was especially delicious. Make sure you come visit this hidden gem in Claremont.
The bread was not fresh at all, and the greek salad did disappoint me because of the sauce - felt like just a supermarket sauce on the top of the feta cheese, making all very salty and losing the deliciousness of just a fresh lemon vinagrete. Server was very kind and sitting outside was nice though.
My wife had the kebab and I had the squid which was prepared and a light wine sauce with herbs. Everything from the lightly toasted pita and olive oil to the exquisite dessert with honey and walnuts we're fantastic.
Love this restaurant. Great authentic Greek food. Brings back great memories of our recent trip to the Greek Islands.
Great place for authentic Greek cuisine. Very friendly staff and a quiet atmosphere for dinner.
Loved the low lite atmosphere the waiter was very nice and help us with out lunch selection the food was great
At this my seco d visit to Claremont, am back. Nothi g has changed!Great tasting, authentic Greek food. Large portions, so bring your appetite. The service is outstanding. I was treated like family, both times. Will be back next time in Claremont.
The BEST GREEK food you will ever try! Great food. Great service. It really worths it!
The Sunday brunch was spectacular. Highly recommend ordering the flambed cheese appetizer.
Excellent food
Great food, slightly dated decor, but it's perfect for what it is. Excellent service and a nice place to hide! Absolutely Love this place!
Food taste good, it was hot, nice naan bread,
My husband and I are regulars who have eaten here for decades. We especially enjoy Sunday breakfast Specials. I love lamb and feta cheese omelet and the potatoes are so delicious. We sit outside in nice weather. Greg the owner is the cook and always so nice and willing to go the extra mile to make your dinning experience a pleasurable one.
The saganaki always pleases every time. Well-seasoned with herbs, lemon, and brandy and then lit on fire at the table. Delicious and fun for everyone. Yes, a bit pricey, but that price includes a soup, salad, entree and dessert in it, so it's actually quite reasonable for what you get. The food is about as authentic as you'll find--all family recipes that have stood the test of time. It's one of the oldest restaurants in Claremont because the flavors keep you coming back.
Been going there for years, a little pricey but they give you a lot for the money. Love their tiny glass of sweet wine, "an after dinner treat"....
Opah!
If you are looking for the RIGHT place to pull that ring out...or not? This is Romance at it's very best...Greek style! The owner, Greg has class mastered...and can he cook!
